Only avocados are allowed. (yes, I thought they were vegetables too, but they are fruit and as such are the only ones allowed on Atkins)

Low GI (Glycimic index) fruits would be best. Despite what you may hear I think it's perfectly reasonable for a low-carber to consume moderate amounts of carrots, peas, and apples.

Apple=17 net carbs. During induction this may be costly but during matinance you'll hardly notice.

Carrot=6 net carbs. A whole carrot dude! Munch on one when you get hungery and can't fire up a lean steak. At only 35 calories, a gram of protien, and 120% of your daily vitamin A requirements, I hardly see it as a waste in net carbs.

Peas=Screw atkins, I like peas and it'll be a cold day in sugar hell before I give'em up. :P

Andrea, you can also use berries.
