Low GI (Glycimic index) fruits would be best. Despite what you may hear I think it's perfectly reasonable for a low-carber to consume moderate amounts of carrots, peas, and apples.
Apple=17 net carbs. During induction this may be costly but during matinance you'll hardly notice.
Carrot=6 net carbs. A whole carrot dude! Munch on one when you get hungery and can't fire up a lean steak. At only 35 calories, a gram of protien, and 120% of your daily vitamin A requirements, I hardly see it as a waste in net carbs.
Peas=Screw atkins, I like peas and it'll be a cold day in sugar hell before I give'em up.
